Choice in a life is just like a poker game, either you win, lose or lose everything. Sometimes counterparts play fair and sometimes they don’t. Sometimes you play fair and sometimes you don’t. We don’t get to choose our opponents and the same goes for life as well (counterparts are family, partner, lover, colleagues, friends, bosses, government and enemies). So is it hard to make a choice or choices? Yes, indeed. When we make choices there would be black, white and grey areas and among which grey area would be 90%. Choices will have consequences in life but not choosing will also have consequences.
Do you really have a choice?
If we can’t choose between two options than, there won’t be any choice. Many times we don’t choose because we want to but we choose because what others want to and that’s the harsh irony of choice. External factors (Circumstances, family, friends, government, colleagues and social media) affect your choices. We had been given several choices in our life but did we opt for those choices? maybe for some but not for all. In North Korea you have right to elect government but is there any choice? No, there is only one party and the same happens in life as well, you may think you have a choice but in reality it’s just an illusion. If we truly had choices then we wouldn’t be sad. Just like data can be manipulated, external factors can manipulate our choices.
If you think that I have a choice then think again. If you think I have the right to choose then think again.
