The world we are seeing today is based on the followership and without followers, no revolution could take place in human history. Many well-known leaders were thriving not because they were highly intellectual or great thinker but rather they could influence the masses to follow them.

Why do we follow others?

Because, we feel that if we can’t accomplish the goals then we should follow someone who posses the quality to accomplish. Yet we don’t accomplish anything but somehow we want to be accepted and to be a part of something which larger than you think.

The modern followers.

In previous generations, people followed others because they wanted to survive and they knew that it’s better to join hands than fighting a war. Now, we don’t need others for survival but we are the dumbest followers in the human history (You can look at current affairs). The population of blind followers have increased dramatically and more the followers are, the less chances to succeed. The modern followers are irrational and they follow because others are following without giving a thought. The problem does not stop here and its just beginning of a great chaos which we will face soon. In today’s time, if you have large followership then you are an omnipotent and you can do whatever you want, just like many leaders did in past. This time the war is not going to happen in the battlefield but on a virtual platform and the consequences would be unimaginable and long-lasting.
