I never imagined that I would like a dark and tragic comedy in my life, until the fleabag aired. The role fleabag was performed by Phoebe Waller-Bridge and who is also the creator of fleabag.

The story revolves around a woman, who lives in London with remorse of losing someone dear to her and keeping everyone at distance without displaying any emotional turmoil. The transformation of phoebe’s one-woman show to a full-fledged TV show is admirable and phoebe was perfect in the role of fleabag where she is blunt, witty, unapologetic, resentful, cynical, selfish, apathetic and adorable.

There are numerous notable characters such as Claire, sexy priest and godmother, somehow fleabag steals the show, every time she is on camera. The most interesting part is breaking the fourth wall (which I did not know earlier) which was beautifully portrayed.

By the time TV show ends, either you want to re-watch or research about the creator.
