Pretentious Acting

You can pretend to care, but you can’t pretend to show up – George I. Bell.

Great acting makes people super successful. The best part about acting or pretending is that it is so convincing, we often forget that Christian bale is not the real batman. If you want to be a batman in real life then buckle up, you must know – how to act.

I don’t know anything about acting but one thing I know that if you can pretend wholehearted then, you will be Leonardo DiCaprio from Wolf of Wall Street, and even your mom can’t stop you from gambling.

Acting at a job: If you can pretend that you are interested in the work, and want to make a career in a particular company, you need one thing – intense method acting. Your boss will love this, and even the security guy will salute you sometimes.

Deceiving your enemies: Acting is deceptive, yet your mortal enemies will like you after a Steller performance act – asking about their problems and listening to them like Ansel Elgort listens to music in baby driver.

Fight with neighbours: Neighbours are born enemies, and to become friends with your neighbours, you must act like them. It may sound like a copycat, but this is the way.

Don’t be too real:  Being real is sometimes a curse in this unreal world, but you must know your true self when you forget who you are.

The power of pretending is a kind of defence mechanism, and we must do what batman does – he fights villains and comes back home, take his suit off, wears a robe, and enjoys the new Netflix show.

This is so true. You had me at the first quote. I often pretend to be playing a character in a movie to evade social anxiety. 🙂
