Somehow, when everything is too easy, it’s not necessarily the right recipe for success – Debbie Moore.
We are living in a weird world where everything is too easy yet, the majority don’t accomplish anything in their life. If you want to become a millionaire by investing in a stock market, it’s too easy, and all you need to subscribe to the online course of the stock market’s wizard. If you want six-packs abs in just 3 hours, follow the diet plan of a fitness expert. See, it’s too easy but, how many gym-goers have abs? The idea of too easy is flawed and, if it was that easy then, anyone could become warren Buffett and have a physique like The Rock.
Easy money is the motivation –
You get pumped when somebody says you can earn 1000 $ in one hour without doing anything. The biggest motivation in the world is – achieving without doing any work. A few days back, I searched online about the data science program. Now, I am getting tons of courses recommendation on social media, emails and messages, become a data scientist in 1 month and earn 6 figure salary. I was just one month away from earning 6 figure salary.
The difficulty is a road to misery –
Everyone thinks difficult things lead to misery, and simple things lead to happiness. Ordinary things will get you mediocre results, and extraordinary things will get you exceptional results. But, we want extraordinary results from doing easy things. It might work sometimes but not always. Difficulty tests our patience, temperament, will power, mental strength, and because of that, barely a few people choose the difficult road. The most distinguished individuals have sacrificed the easiness. The difficult road became the smoothest road in the end.
Laziness leads to losing money –
Laziness can be the enemy of opportunity. We must have heard numerous times that time is money which means don’t be lazy and do something. The opportunity comes once in a lifetime, and you better lose the laziness and seize the moment (Inspired by the legendary song).
Enforced mediocrity –
Enforced mediocrity is the biggest enemy of quality. When mediocrity is appreciated and awarded, every good work will seem groundbreaking. The reason for enforced mediocrity is simple, create the followership base, more the people admire mediocrity, and the more people want to be part of it.
Getting something without doing anything is like wishing from Genie, and wishes do come true if you are Aladdin.
